Physician: MD or DO, Dentist: DDS or DMD, Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse-Midwife, Physician Assistant

Service Requirements (formerly Service Stipulation):

Commitment to work at least 2 years at an NHSC-approved site in a medically underserved community.

Who Can Apply:

Committed to providing primary care in a community that offers the funding; resident of the HRSA in which community is located; be enrolled or accepted as f/t student in a health professions school; meet educational & licensure requirements.

The NHSC Scholarship Program is accepting applications through April 25, 7:30 p.m. ET.

The NHSC SP pays for educational expenses and also provides a monthly stipend for living expenses in exchange for a minimum of two (2) years of full-time service at an NHSC-approved site in a health professional shortage area (HPSA) of greatest need.
