Physicians: Allopathic Medicine and Osteopathic Medicine; Dentistry; Advanced Practice Clinicians; Mental/Behavioral Health; Registered Nurses; Registered Pharmacists

Service Requirements (formerly Service Stipulation):

Applicant must practice two years at one of the following sites (only public and nonprofit private sites are eligible): Federally-Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), Rural Health Clinics, State/County Mental Health Hospitals, Community Outpatient Facility, State/County Health Department Clinic, Indian Health Service Clinic, Urban Indian Health Clinic, State or Federal Correctional Facilities, Immigration and Customs Enforcement Health Clinic, FQHC Look-Alikes, Critical Access Hospital, Long-Term Care Facilities, Community Mental Health Facility, Free Clinic School-based Health Clinic, Tribal Health Clinic. Solo or Group Private Practices, Mobile Units

A U.S. citizen (either U.S. born or naturalized) or U.S. National


Applications will be reviewed quarterly by the State Health Council at their scheduled meetings. For dates of upcoming State Health Council meetings, call the North Dakota Department of Health at 701-328-2372.

Amount of repayment per year of service:

Applicants may receive up to $50,000/year for two years of service and requires a 1:1 match from the sponsoring organization or community.
