Educational Scholarship Guides An AAMC Educational Working Group on Educational Scholarship was established in 2005 and charged to develop a series of educational documents that describe the definition, peer review, publication, and recognition of educational scholarship in higher education. Drawing on the educational scholarship literature, the documents illustrate how published educational works are comparable to other forms of scholarship that are commonly used for promotion and tenure purposes.
