Physicians (MD or DOo) specializing in family practice, general internal medicine, general pediatrics, ob/gyn and general psychiatry; PA; NP; PNS; CNM; general practice dentists (DDS or DMD); dental hygienists and select mental health disciplines

Service Requirements (formerly Service Stipulation):
|
Enter into a contract to provide direct patient care in a certified eligible site in a designated HPSA full-time (minimum 40 hrs/week) for at least two consecutive years.
|

Who Can Apply:
|
US Citizen with valid CA license to practice; free of unserved obligations for service; free of judgments arising from Federal debt and agree to provide f/t (40 hrs minimum) primary care services for at least 2 consecutive years.
|

Deadline(s):

Application period is August 1 through October 1 annually.
|

Repayment/Scholarship terms:
|
|
|
Amount of repayment per year of service:
|
Up to $25,000 for 1st and 2nd year; Up to $35,000 for 3rd and 4th year.
