Service Requirements (formerly Service Stipulation):

Service Obligation: One year of practice in a qualified Oklahoma rural community for each year of scholarship loan. (Must practice at least two years for any credit to be given.)

Who Can Apply:

Currently enrolled in (or has been accepted into) a medical college. Plans to do internship/residency in a primary care specialty. Is a resident of the State of Oklahoma.

Agrees to practice in a qualified Oklahoma rural community. Has no other assistance which has a conflicting service obligation requirement.

Amount of repayment per year of service:

Up to $60,000; $15,000 each for first, second, third, and fourth years. Payable monthly.
