Primary Care: physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and certified nurse midwives.
Dental Health: dentists and dental hygienists
Mental Health: clinical or counseling psychologists (PhD), licensed clinical social workers (MA, PhD), psychiatrics nurse specialists, mental health counselors, licensed counselors (MA, PhD with major study in counseling).

Service Requirements (formerly Service Stipulation):

All candidates must be willing to commit to a two year contract with the state of New Hampshire.
|

Who Can Apply:
|
Must be a US Citizen. Physicians must be board eligible or board certified in the primary care specialties and hold a New Hampshire license to practice. All other practitioners must be licensed to practice in New Hampshire.

All State Loan Applications are accepted from July 1 through postmarked March 1. All applications will be numbered as we receive them for the review process.

Amount of repayment per year of service:
|
Primary care physicians, dentists, psychiatrics, or clinical psychologists up to $20,000 per year. Other eligible licensed healthcare professionals can receive up to $10,000 per year.
