Service Requirements (formerly Service Stipulation):

One year of service providing primary care in a health professional shortage area per loan. If number of loans exceeds 4, 20% of the entire borrowed amount and interest is forgiven per year.

Who Can Apply:

Applicant must be a Missouri resident for more than one year in a non-academic standing. Applicant must attend a qualifying Missouri school.

Deadline(s):

Annually. Applications must be post marked by midnight June 30.

Loans available beginning undergraduate level through medical school. Residency stipends also available. Selection process is used. Debts are forgiven in exchange for practicing in a health professional shortage area.
